China EPower returns from 23-25 April 2009 at Intex Shanghai, China.
We look forward to seeing you again.

In recent years, China has become an economic powerhouse which is experiencing industrialisation and urbanisation at an astounding rate.

China’s 2006 GDP increased 10.7 percent to RMB20.94 trillion - the strongest growth in 11 years.
As a major energy consumer with few energy resources, the government aims to bring the nation’s total installed generating capacity to between 950 and 1000 GW by 2020.

These pressing energy challenges have created many opportunities for the international power industry to tap into the various opportunities in China.

China’s robust energy generation market

•  Represents over 10 percent of the world’s total energy consumption
•  Net importer of energy
•  Total investments in China’s power grids to exceed RMB1 trillion by 2010

A leading electric power event, China International Electric Power & Electric Engineering Technology Exhibition (EPETEE), has been rebranded as China EPower. EPETEE had been held in Shanghai for the past seven years.

The rebranding effort is part of the long-term strategy to grow the event into an internationally recognised leading-edge platform for the global power industry. It also celebrates a new partnership that will take the show into the next expansion phase.

Starting with the 2008 exhibition, China EPower will be managed by MP Zhongmao International (Shanghai) Pte Ltd. The new joint-venture company is set up by Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co Ltd and Singapore-based MP International Pte Ltd. The organiser for the event, MP Asia, is part of the MP International group.

Themed China’s Energy and Power Future, the two-day conference is packed with business critical sessions delivered by top-notch leaders.
